The Position:

We’re seeking a well-rounded strategic marketing Digital Marketing Specialist to join our account management team. This person will collaborate with the teams to create innovative ideas and support with all things digital oversight and execution. Do you have experience in account management, project management or serving as an in-house digital expert? This could be the perfect role for you whereyou canmake a huge impact within a lean, agile team.

The individual must have proven results and a passion for building and executing B2B and B2C marketing initiatives that fuel client growth. Must also be a hands-on utility player who can roll up his or her sleeves to not only move the business forward but support the tactical needs of our clients through the development and execution of marketing programs.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

In partnership with the Account Director...

  • Key contributor to account/project management function
  • Lead specific areas of accounts; client facing role
  • In partnership with team leads, plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, paid media, display advertising campaigns, etc
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and recommend optimizations to spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Participate in planning and measurement experiments and conversion tests
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Assess conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with internal agency team, client's internal teams and other partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Manage internal tasks to meet budgets and timelines via project management tool
  • Provide suggestions to increase productivity and effectiveness of agency processes

Job Requirements/Skills:

  • Experience directly working with/managing client accounts
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a B2B and B2C marketing role (agency or client side).
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing with demonstrated experience
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop, retain and grow client programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills - Empathy, listening, proactiveness and conflict resolution are a must have!
  • Ability to work creatively while managing a consistent workload
  • Ability to build rapport and have a positive attitude
  • Self-driven, time management and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ongoing drive to do push the creative envelope and keep up with the latest digital trends
  • Willingness to learn and be adaptable to change
  • Experience in optimizing digital marketing channels and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously

Account Manager Detroit, MI

The Position:

We’re seeking a well-rounded strategic account manager with experience successfully leading teams to help manage our marketing agency's client strategy and accounts. Perfect for someone currently in an account role that is looking to take one step up in their career.

This position requires a creative idea generator with the confidence and persuasiveness required to report on innovative marketing strategies to meet client objectives. The individual must have proven results building and executing B2B and B2C marketing initiatives that fuel client growth. How You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Help manage day to day accounts
  • Help improve standard processes for onboarding and managing clients with the goal of creating an exceptional experience for all clients regardless of spending level
  • Implement client account planning
  • Manage, coach and provide ongoing mentorship to account management team members to optimize their success in the role
  • Help manage project management systems
  • Communicating with our clients to identify their needs and execute our strategies
  • Help manage and grow portfolio of clients
  • Own some client relationships across existing client base and participate in client kick-off and strategy sessions
  • Assess strategies currently in place for existing clients and recommend new or amended priorities as needed to support each client’s business objectives
  • Identify and sell growth opportunities within existing client accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Solicit feedback and monitor client satisfaction in all agency services and deliverables
  • Identify client issues and concerns; identify appropriate steps to resolve issues in conjunction with Account Director
  • Ensure that significant ROI is being achieved across all assigned accounts and that high standards of quality are met from the execution team

Job Requirements/Skills:

  • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree or higher
  • Email marketing and ads experience is a plus, but not required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a B2B and B2C marketing role with progressive responsibility that includes leadership and people management positions
  • At least 2 years experience marketing startup companies
  • At least 2 years of experience working in roles on the client side
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop, retain and grow client programs
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and become a pro at new marketing technology tools
