Detroit City Distillery creates small batch artisanal whiskey, gin and vodka using the finest local ingredients sourced directly from farms near their distillery and tasting room located in Detroit’s famed Eastern Market. The result is a drink of distinction made for the revolutionaries rewriting the history of a great American city.The GoalsDetroit City Distillery came to Marketing Supply Co. with the goal of expanding their audience throughout the state of Michigan, and beyond. For us, this meant that our job was to increasing brand awareness and thoroughly establishing their voice and tone online—inside & outside of city bounds.The ApproachOur job was to get people from all over the state out of their homes and into Detroit City Distillery’s tasting room, Whiskey Factory tours, and to their local spirits’ distributors to purchase bottles. To do so, we combined paid social advertising with organic social media management to create an authentic brand awareness campaign.The ResultsThe Detroit-made spirits brand has managed to increase growth across the board; from significantly increasing social media following to more than doubling tour sign-ups to increasing bottle sales and tasting room traffic.
